Feeder Calf Sale Cancelled

The South Carolina Cattlemen's Association Feeder Calf sale, to be  held January 15, 2008 at Martin and Martin Cattle Company, has been  cancelled until further notice. If you were making plans to consign cattle to this sale, please contact Joey Martin 864-940-4800 or Glen  Brooks 864-379-1011 to make other arrangements for your cattle. More  feeder calf sales will be scheduled in the future, go to www.sccattle.org for updates on the feeder calf sales for 2008. For  more assistance please call the SCCA office.

• Tentative Date of Sale: Aug. 14 • Sept. 11 • Nov. 13 • Jan.15
• Time of Sale: 6:30 on Tuesday

Martin & Martin Cattle Co, Inc. is located off of I-85 at Exit 27. Go north on Hwy 81 to Cherokee Road which is the third paved road on the right. The barn is 3/4 of a mile on the right.

Premise Identification Required
     Calves must meet Vaccination requirements:
               * 7 Way Blackleg
               * 4 Way Respiratory –IBR, BVD, PIC, BRSV
               * Lepto is recommended but not required
                  In order to be considered weaned, calves must be weaned for 45 days, broke to
                  feed and water trough, de-horned and de-wormed.
