2016 SCCF Scholarship Program to Award Four $1000 Scholarships

The South Carolina Cattlemen’s Foundation will fund two $1,000 scholarships to an incoming freshman college student whose intent is to pursue a four-year degree in a curriculum of applied agricultural sciences (major codes 100 at Clemson). Applications will be considered in the following areas, in order of importance: 1) agricultural background and related activities, 2) scholastic achievement and 3) financial need.

The SCCF will also fund two $1,000 scholarships to an incoming freshman college student whose intent is to pursue a four year degree, with no restriction on the field of study.  Applications will be considered with emphasis on the following areas, in order: 1) scholastic achievement, 2) financial need and 3) agricultural background and related activities.

2016 Scholarship Schedule
August 2015  Scholarships announced in “The Carolina Cattle Connection” and copies mailed to local association presidents and county extension offices and posted on the SCCA/SCBC website.
January 15, 2016 Completed applications returned to State Office (postmarked by January 15, 2016)
March 5, 2016 Selections made and winners notified.

***Scholarships winners will be awarded their scholarship and recognized at the SCCA Annual Conference, March 5, 2016.
