South Carolina's Beef Board Mission
The South Carolina Beef Board's mission is to work to increase the demand for beef and beef products within the state of South Carolina and nationally through support of the national and state joint programs in promotion, consumer information/education, research, industry information, producer communications and market development programs.

Function
Receive assessments to the South Carolina Beef Board in care of the South Carolina Department of Agriculture from producers enabling the South Carolina Beef Board to provide consumer information/education and producer information, conduct promotions, fund research programs, and disseminate consumer and industry information.
